Returns and our low-waste commitment

We are dedicated to sustainable, low-waste clothing, To honour this commitment, we distinguish between standard returns and our ethical take-backs (once worn out).

Standard returns (for fit, preference, or change of mind)

  • Eligibility: Items must be unworn, unwashed, and returned (preferably in its original packaging) within 30 days of receipt.
  • The low-waste process: To minimise unnecessary carbon emissions and processing waste inherent in the fast fashion industry (it's why we're slow style all the way), we ask that you measure carefully using our size guides before ordering.
  • Return shipping: The cost of return postage (for returns due to sizing, or preference) is the responsibility of the customer. We will process your full refund (minus the original shipping fee) upon receipt and inspection / acceptance of the returned item. We ask that you use a tracked delivery service for returns - this minimises loss, waste, and expediates your refund.

Circular Take Back (of worn-out GYSO clothing)

  • Eligibility: For any garment or accessory purchased from gyso.store (getyersustainableon.com) that has reached the end of its useful life, we will accept it back for recycling or upcycling / repair through our ethical take back scheme.
  • How it works: Simply email us at: sales@getyersustainableon.com with the subject line - TAKE BACK detailing the items you are sending back to us and we will email you a returns label for your worn-out items. In exchange for your commitment to keeping the garment in circulation (and out of landfill), we will (upon receipt of your return) immediately email you a voucher for £10 off your next purchase.
  • Shipping: We will pay the cost of the tracked returns label once you have emailed us (as above) with the details of your take-back(s). All you must do is print out the returns label and attach it securely to your returns.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method (minus the original delivery fee). Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
